My love for therapy grew out of the idea that our experiences shape our beliefs about ourselves and others. Sometimes these beliefs are helpful... and sometimes not. One of the goals of therapy can be to recognize your own beliefs and understand how they impact your thoughts and feelings.
As both a certified trauma therapist and a relationship therapist, I understand how an event or series of events can impact every facet of your life; how trauma can cause deep wounds that feel like they will never heal. I also understand how these experiences can be challenging to navigate within our connection to others.
Using a combined CBT and relationship model, we are going to work together to heal trauma, reduce anxiety and depression, show up authentically, and learn to have more rewarding, healthy relationships.
I have over a decade of experience working with individuals and couples. Specializing in trauma, PTSD, pre/postpartum, relationship issues, and infertility.
